The hotel is not far from the city centre of Bologna, around 10 minutes strolling through the famous porticoed streets. The Basilica of San Domenico is between the centre and Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta and is an important landmark where Mozart played occasionally played during his time at the city’s music academy.

How to reach us

Guests travelling to Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta by car from the direction of Milan-Florence have to exit at Bologna Cassalecchio and take the Bologna ring road (tangenziale) until exit number 7. This takes you onto Via Stalingrado.  If you plan to arrive from Padova, exit at Bologna Arcoveggio and turn left for Ancona. You then exit onto Via Stalingrado at exit number 7 on the Bologna ring road. If you are coming directly from Ancona, exit at Bologna San Lazzaro and take the ring road again exiting at number 7 onto Via Stalingrado.

Once you are on Via Stalingrado continue until you reach the bridge at the very end.  From here turn left onto Viale Berti Pichat and follow this road until it becomes Viale Gozzadini. On Viale Gozzadini, turn right into Via degli Angeli and right again into Via Orfeo. Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta is located at number 34, Via Orfeo.
